Nina Magon is a national, multi-award winning interior designer and TV personality renowned for her signature refined modern aesthetic that perfectly balances bold high design with glamorous appeal. As Creative Director of Contour Interior Design with locations in Houston, TX and Miami, FL, Nina seeks to first create a vision and then execute it for each client, designing one-of-a-kind environments, each tailored to the client’s unique taste, with an emphasis on skillfully executed, flawless detail. Contour is lauded in its industry for its integration of design innovation, construction expertise, and business acumen. Her lavish residential, commercial and hospitality interiors have won her national acclaim as she has been recognized as one of the top designers in the country by Hospitality Design Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, NBC and BRAVO TV to name a few. In addition to her many accolades, she was deemed “The Design Industry’s Next It Girl” by POPSUGAR 2014 and was called “The Breakout Star” by RUE Magazine 2014.
Nina received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, with post-graduate studies in Architecture and Design at The Art Institute of Houston.
In 2013, Nina was hand-picked by Oprah Winfrey’s interior designer, Nate Berkus, to appear on NBC’s American Dream Builders in which 12 of the most notable, respected and established designers and builders from around the country competed to win the title of the first American Dream Builder. Nina was a semi-finalist in this national competition and was continuously praised for her high level of taste and aesthetics. She also landed a Lowe’s Home Improvement commercial that aired during the season finale.
In 2016, she was selected to be one of the 25 participants nationwide by Housing Works and Elle Decor Magazine to participate in Design On A Dime Miami.
Nina is a notable designer and has won several awards in residential, commercial and hospitality design, including "Best of Year Honoree by Interior Design Magazine, "Counter Culture Finalist" in the Hospitality Magazine Awards, " Faces of Design Finalist" by HGTV and many ASID & Houzz awards for Best Designer in several categories. She also sits on the Board of Designers for Zillow and speaks on design subjects at industry events around the country.
Nina is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Interior Design Society (IDS), American Association of Interior Designers (ASID), the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC).
She is philanthropic to many non-profit organizations including Dec My Room, The Women's Home, Pratham, Hope Endowment, Texas Children’s Hospital and has chaired events for Unicef and Pin Oak Charities to name a few.
Currently, Nina splits her time between managing her offices and developing new licensing collections under the growing Nina Magon, Inc. brand.

Kara Mihalick, Senior Project Advisor for Contour Interior Design, Houston, TX, studied Art History and Interior Architecture at University of California Los Angeles and abroad in Rome, Italy. Kara is a certified LEED Green Associate, and has special interests in universal design concepts. After gaining design and construction experience in Southern California, she has returned to Houston and joined Contour Interior Design. Influenced by art, architecture from her travels and studies abroad, interior architectural and product design is Kara’s first passion.

Andres Vanegas is an exceptionally talented designer who began his design career 17 years ago in his native country of Colombia. There he received honors and recognition for his commitment to excellence in academics and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at Pontificia Bolivariana University. Upon completion, Andres’ multifaceted background and global perspective developed while holding positions as an architect, estimator and project manager over the years. His passion for creating a better style of living for others would lead him to the United States where he obtained his second degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design at the Art Institute of Houston Downtown. Today his accomplishments include working alongside some of the top designers in the country on commercial and residential projects for high-profile clients. As one of the lead designers at Contour Interior Design he works closely with clients to bring their visions to life while enhancing their daily living. Andres prides himself in teamwork and the integration of honesty, integrity, dedication and passion in all of his work. He is a member of ASID, IIDA, NEWH, and ARCH Houston. When not working, Andres can be found enjoying a walk in the park, in the disco dancing or spending time with his friends and dog, Pulga.

Elyse Krueger is a Houston native that found her knack for interior design at the age of 14. Her love for creating distinctive environments led her to study design at the University of Texas San Antonio and receive a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2011. Over the years she has become a versatile designer and has gained extensive knowledge of design. From overseeing studio operations to conceptualizing design details, she has a comprehensive understanding for all things business and design. In addition to her contributions to the business side of the company, her unparalleled attention to detail, project management skills and creativity level makes her a true asset to the design team.

Evelyn developed a passion for interior design at an early age and to pursue her childhood dreams, she graduated with honors and a bachelor’s degree of arts in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Houston
Evelyn has enthusiasm for everything when it comes to design, including creative brain storming for new projects to completing detailed space planning. Evelyn is drawn to Contemporary and Modern Design and is inspired by nature as well as the people that surround her. She believes a design should enhance the lives of the users while preserving the surrounding environment. Evelyn considers that great design explores the unknown and creates social interaction to inspire and motivate

Originally from Colombia, Nataly Montoya, is a fashion-forward designer with a passion for creating spaces that mix elements of contemporary and minimalistic design. She loves to design new spaces to fit a client’s taste, need and personality. As a teenager, she moved to the United States to be closer to her immediate family. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston. Additionally, she attended the Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona to obtain an IED certification in contemporary spaces. Multi-faceted in her skills, Nataly leads various projects from concept to completion by drafting floor plans, developing project schedules and everything in between. In her free time, she loves traveling around the world, exploring new cultures, biking, wine tasting and volunteering her time to help underprivileged children in villages in Colombia.
Gisella De Ponton

Gisella is an award-winning designer who graduated from Ball State University in Indiana with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a minor in Spanish. She has 30 years of experience working in the interior architectural design field creating both retail and corporate spaces for clients.
As a project design lead, Gisella has worked nationally and internationally for many corporate clients and retail consultancies over the course of her career. She began working in corporate design in 1987 and moved into Retail/Restaurant design in 2004. Since then she has collaborated on various projects from small boutique start-ups companies to large campus corporate offices like the ExxonMobil Houston office and Imperial Oil Limited in Calgary. Gisella’s design success has stemmed from her passion for design paired with her understanding of market trends and excellent customer service.
Gisella collaborated on many aspects of ongoing projects including concept planning, design documentation and finishes and fixture design. Working at Contour Interior Design has allowed her to explore all aspects of the design process. Gisella’s outstanding talent for creating hand renderings has been a success for many clients and Contour has encouraged her to stretch her creative abilities.
Gisella is strategic in her planning and design focus to fully understand a client’s needs and enhance the end result. Her passion is driven not only by creating beautiful spaces, but also by understanding a client’s goals, demographics, and workplace to create an environment that will ultimately suit them best.
